As most of you know I'm a dog person. I've always been surrounded by animals and animal lovers and I seriously enjoy taking pics of these guys. Over the past few months I've had a number of people reach out to me and ask if I offer pet photography sessions followed by "wait, is that weird..?" Well first of all, yes I would love to take photos of your pet and second - NO. It's not weird! Dogs are such a huge part of our lives. They are family. And as much as it breaks our hearts they don't live forever. I think it's so important to capture memories with our pets while we can and trust me - you're not the only one asking for a pet photo session ;).
Jake is a 12 year old yellow lab and he just might be the most loved dog I know. Michelle & Jake have an insanely special bond and I'm so happy I was able to capture these memories of the two of them on the farm they grew up on. Over the next few months I'll be sharing a few more of my favorite pet sessions.
